Fall Back leads to Falling Down (tired that is)!

Breaking out of the burrito last night after his bath. Nice hair, huh?

A few pictures of the happy guy this morning before work. Love that sweatshirt!

Digging for money in the couch... and coming up empty!

Daylight Savings Time kicked our butts this weekend. All attempts at being proactive and extending bedtime by a few minutes each night leading up to Saturday night failed miserably. Joshua was awake early on Sunday morning which screwed up naptimes royally. By Sunday evening, after boycotting a nap in the afternoon altogether, he was literally a walking zombie. Eyes were half opened and he couldn't stand up longer than a few seconds without crashing to the ground. This morning was another early wakeup, but hopefully Grandma has the magic touch to get him back on track today.

I haven't updated on new skills lately, so I thought I should. We are now able to stand up from the floor and take off walking across the house. It's pretty impressive. He just pops right up and takes off. I noticed it for the first time around the middle of last week, but Jason said he saw it earlier than that.

Joshua can also blow kisses now, although it's not exactly right. He usually puts his fingers in his mouth, licks them and then blows the kiss. Not sure where that variation originated, but we'll give him credit for the effort.

The weekend was a whirlwind by all accounts. Friday night we went to a Kiwanis project together as a family and worked on the Operation Christmas Child project in Lewisburg. The goal was to wrap, stuff and prepare 300 shoeboxes for shipment overseas. We were there for about 2 hours and I think I wrapped about 10 boxes. I'm sure it was a LONG night. Saturday Jason and I went to the PSU game while Joshua played with Grandma and Grandpa at home. Then we went to Ciro's for supper. Joshua enjoyed the bread, bites of my pizza and especially Ciro's meatballs. Yummy! (Those are mommy's favorite too!) Sunday was a whacked out day, so not much of anything got done like I had planned. But I guess that's life. We did lots of playing and reading together. Then we made meatloaf and daddy made macaroni and cheese--- which Joshua LOVED!

This afternoon is music class and then a quiet evening at home. Who knows what it'll bring, but I'll report tomorrow.

Talk to you all soon! Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
